Shirley A. Largent, 86 of Waynesburg, died Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
She was born March 6, 1931 in Clarksville, a daughter of the late Garald J. and Hildred Scott Turner.
Shirley was a graduate of Jefferson High School and the Washington Hospital School of Nursing.
She was a registered nurse at the former Greene County Memorial Hospital in Waynesburg for over 35 years.
Shirley was a lifelong member of the Clarksville Christian Church, where she was Deacon Emeritus, the former secretary of the church board...

She was born March 6, 1931 in Clarksville, a daughter of the late Garald J. and Hildred Scott Turner.
Shirley was a graduate of Jefferson High School and the Washington Hospital School of Nursing.
She was a registered nurse at the former Greene County Memorial Hospital in Waynesburg for over 35 years.
Shirley was a lifelong member of the Clarksville Christian Church, where she was Deacon Emeritus, the former secretary of the church board and a member of the Christian Women Fellowship.
On May 8, 1954 she married, Robert M. Largent, who died, October 19, 1991.
Surviving are two sons, Robert G. (Karen) Largent of Johnstown, and Frank O. Largent of Carmichaels; four grandchildren; three great grandsons; three siblings, Garaldine Adamson of Waynesburg, J. Robert (Jean) Turner of Warren, and Sara (Homer) Reesman of Waynesburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
